International Languages

Access library materials including books, periodicals, and DVDs in a wide range of world languages.

The international languages collection is available courtesy of the Cleveland Public Library’s International Languages department, and the collection changes every three to four months. The collection includes over 1000 items including books, periodicals, and DVDs in languages including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. There is also a small selection of children’s resources available in these languages.

We welcome your requests for particular types of items or for items in other languages. Visitors to the Hudson Library & Historical Society can also obtain books and DVDs in any of the 45 languages available at the Cleveland Public Library. We will gladly place orders for any requested materials. In most cases, your request will arrive within one week.
