Statement of Purpose

The Hudson Library has a wealth of audiovisual resources available for customer use. Any person who is a registered borrower in good standing may borrow the Library’s DVD’s/Blu-Rays. This service is provided free of charge. All libraries, however, may contain materials which some parents may find inappropriate for their minor children. The Hudson Library’s Children and Teen staff are very familiar with the Library’s collection and will work with parents to make suggestions regarding age appropriate resources. Parents wishing to restrict their minor children’s access to Adult and Teen DVD/Blu-Rays should inform staff at the Circulation Desk regarding their preference and this will then be noted on their children’s library card.
