The Friends of the Hudson Library is a non-profit volunteer organization committed to supporting the library.

Become a Member

As a Friend, you can make a real contribution to the vitality of the Hudson Library & Historical Society. Bring your interest and enthusiasm and join a group of people who are dedicated to providing a service to the public. Your time will be rewarded by the donations to the library our efforts produce.

To become a Friend, fill out the Friends of the Library Membership Form, select a sponsorship level of your choice, and submit the form along with your donation. Your degree of participation is up to you. Your donation will help the Friends work on behalf of the Hudson Library & Historical Society.

What We Do

• Sort and shelve donations received from the community.
• Conduct regular book sales. [link to booksales page]
• Sponsor educational programming and promote reading.
• Purchase items such as circulating books, computers, printers, and library furniture for public and staff use.
• Encourage donations to the library.
