Meeting rooms are available for Hudson businesses, community organizations, and non-profits for programs or meetings.

We offer a variety of spaces equipped to support your event needs.

Meeting Room Rules

 

Use of Room

  • The meeting room is intended for Hudson businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.
  • No social gatherings such as showers, birthday parties, family reunions, weddings, etc.
  • No sales, merchandise, or profit-making activities.
  • A Hudson resident must represent the group, sign the application, and attend the event. The representative is liable for the library property and equipment.
  • Library programs receive priority over outside groups.

Use of Room Rules

  • No alcohol, smoking, open flames, or pets.
  • Do not attach decorations or materials that could damage walls or surfaces.
  • Groups must arrange and clean the room, returning it to its original condition.
  • Wipe counters/tables.
  • Return all furniture.
  • Remove trash as needed (diapers must be taken off-site).
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • No food, crafts, or painting allowed in the Laurel Lake Living Room. Covered drinks are permitted.
  • Groups may not post their own signs in the library. The only signage allowed will be a list of the day’s meetings provided by the library. Publicity must not imply that the library is sponsoring or endorsing the event.

Users shall indemnify and hold harmless the Hudson Library & Historical Society and employees from any and all claims for damages which arise from use of the Hudson Library & Historical Society meeting rooms

Meeting/Event Hours

  • Rooms are reserved on a first-call, first-served basis in 4-hour increments.
  • Include setup and cleanup time in your reservation.
  • No early entry before library hours.
  • Rooms must be vacated 15 minutes before library closing.

Technology Use

  • The library provides projectors and basic audiovisual equipment in select meeting rooms; however, users must bring their own laptop and any necessary adapters or cables for connecting to the projector.
  • Library staff are not available to provide technical setup, troubleshooting, or equipment operation support. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their technology functions properly with library equipment and that they can independently operate all equipment they plan to use.
  • The library is not responsible for technical issues, equipment incompatibilities, or delays caused by user technology.
