Statement of Policy

The Hudson Library and Historical Society has established exhibit space throughout the building to engage and educate the community about its local heritage as well as to highlight new and innovative services. These exhibit spaces, created in lieu of a local period room, are for library use only and frequently showcase the library’s many artifacts, antiques, textiles, ephemera collections and other primary resource materials. The only exception is the public exhibit space for children located in the Children’s Public Service Desk, which was created to highlight children’s collections.
