Statement of Purpose

The primary purpose of the Hudson Library Meeting Rooms is to provide programming space for the Library’s numerous activities and services. Library programming takes precedence over those of outside groups.

As a community service, however, the Library makes meeting room space available for use by community non-profit and for-profit organizations for educational, cultural, civic and social purposes. Groups may use the meeting rooms for both private meetings as well as to present information to the general public consistent with the informational, educational, recreational or cultural mission of the Library. All presentations must be non-soliciting in nature. Groups using the meeting rooms shall not disrupt the normal function of the Library.
